New Obsession: Ceramic Tiles!
Posted by Amanda Altig on
I just keep going down the rabbit hole.... but I think I found something our customers will be excited about as well!
This rainy Saturday morning I decided to experiment with a new base for my acrylic pouring— ceramic tiles.
Now these beauties are my new favorite thing to paint! The smooth surface allows the paint to settle and dry flat for a glass-like finish. I’m going to experiment with some sealants, but I think these will be perfect for coasters and will make a great gift.
A key part of these being my new favorite is that if I don’t like how the painting turned out— I can just wipe it clean with a damp rag and start over again! No more wasted canvas when I’m experimenting with new techniques. 😉
What do you think about painted tiles? Would you use them as coasters? Would you be interesting in learning these techniques? Drop us a comment below!
